6/17/11 blood draw

Did a blood draw at an appt today. First time I have done one when it wasn't just for practice. Took me a while to deicde where to poke but I only had to poke once and got the vein right away. Need to work on tying tourniquets with gloves on....

Did my first pap today, it was also the first time I have done a pelvic exam on a "real" person. Used a plastic speculum which was annoying but good practice. Need to figure out how to remove those more smoothly or get my own collection of metal ones to take with me places.
